  • I have very fine/thick/curly/short hair. Can you achieve the style I want?
Yes, I can create most styles, though it’s important to remember that each person's hair behaves differently. Together, we’ll refine the looks to ensure they work with your specific hair type, face shape, and outfit. I have experience working with all hair textures and lengths, and will collaborate with you to achieve the style you envision while making sure it complements your natural features.
  • My wedding is outdoors. How will you ensure my style lasts all day?
I take great care in preparing your hair to ensure it lasts, using products specifically designed to combat moisture and humidity. Clean, sleek updos stay in place more easily throughout the day, while wearing your hair down requires a bit more maintenance—although extensions can help with style longevity. I always stay on-site for touch-ups as needed, ensuring your style remains flawless from start to finish.
  • What happens if something goes wrong?
I prepare for a range of contingencies and always go the extra mile to problem-solve if things don’t go as planned. I provide guidance ahead of time to ensure everything runs smoothly, and I come fully equipped with backup tools and products, just in case. While I’m skilled at keeping everything on schedule, I’m also experienced at adapting to ensure your day goes as seamlessly as possible. My goal is to keep things calm and stress-free, so you can enjoy every moment of your special day without worrying about the details.

For session work, availability will depend on the specifics of your project, and you can contact me directly to confirm available dates.

Clients who do not cancel within the required timeframe and fail to show up will have future appointment requests denied. Provider Cancellations: I will offer the option to rebook on another available date at no additional charge.
  • How do you maintain health and safety whilst providing services?
I prioritise health and safety by regularly disinfecting and sanitising all tools and work surfaces. This includes using Barbicide for combs and brushes and making sure that all tools are free of hair after each use. Between clients, I wash my hands, and I also conduct annual PAT testing on electrical tools to ensure they meet safety standards. For the safety of all clients, I refuse services to anyone showing signs of scalp conditions or other potentially communicable medical conditions. Upon request, I will gladly wear a mask or face covering. Your safety and comfort are my top priority, and I remain committed to maintaining a clean, hygienic environment for all services.
  • What kind of products do you recommend?
To offer the best recommendations, I ask clients to share the products they're currently using in advance. This enables me to apply my expertise in tailoring products to each client’s unique needs, whilst ensuring they are clean, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free.
  • Are you available for my wedding date(s)?
My calendar does fill up quickly, as I only take on a limited number of bookings per season, so it’s best to get in touch as soon as possible to check my availability. If I am free on your wedding date(s), we can arrange a consultation to get to know each other, or you can request that I send you a proposal directly.
  • What are your rates?
My rates vary depending on the number of days you'd like to schedule me and the location of your wedding celebration. Travel is included in my rates, but any additional services or services that require me to amend my travel plans will incur extra costs. After our initial consultation, I’ll send you a proposal with package options tailored to suit your needs, including pricing. Alternatively, you can fill out a short form with details about your wedding, and I’ll send you a proposal without the need for a consultation first.
  • How do I secure my booking?
To secure your booking, I require clients to submit both a signed contract and a retainer payment. To begin the process, schedule a consultation with me or, if you prefer, directly request a proposal through my website to check availability and obtain pricing. Through the proposal, you will be able to select the package that best suits your needs, after which you can easily generate and sign a contract at your convenience. Upon receiving your signed contract, I will issue a formal invoice and provisionally reserve your date(s) for a period of seven days. A retainer payment equal to 50% of the total invoiced amount is then required to officially secure your booking. Should I not receive the retainer within the specified timeframe, the dates will be made available to other prospective clients on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • What is the maximum number of people you style per day?
For weddings, I style a maximum of five clients per day. This allows me to give each person my full attention and ensure a personalised, high-quality experience from start to finish. If you have more than five people, I’m happy to arrange for an assistant—please speak with me for additional details.
  • Do I need to have a trial before the wedding?
A trial isn’t required, but I do highly recommend one. It gives us the chance to perfect your look(s) in advance and helps you understand what to expect on the big day. I can host your trial at my salon in Aberdeen, or I’m happy to travel to you if that’s more convenient—I’m very flexible and will do my best to accommodate your schedule. If you’re having a destination wedding and can’t fit in a trial until you arrive, that’s absolutely fine—we can arrange one a day or two before the wedding, if you’re happy to do so. For example, if you’re hosting a pre-wedding event, we could schedule the trial earlier that day so you not only have peace of mind but also a photo-ready style for the celebration. In all cases, when I book a trial, I don’t take on any other commitments that day, so you’ll have my full attention.
